Grupo Posadas is the leading hotel operator in Mexico and Latin America. With over three decades of knowledge and experience, it is the most internationally renowned Mexican company.

In 1970, it was founded by Mr. Gaston Azcárraga Tamayo and began to operate in the hotel market with the opening of Fiesta Palace, now known as Fiesta Americana Reforma.

During the sixties, an innovative approach made Posadas a pioneer when it launched the first Mexican hotel brand—Fiesta Americana. As a result, in the eighties it became one of the five leading companies in Mexican tourism.

It currently manages eight self-owned brands in Mexico and South America: Aqua, Fiesta Americana, Fiesta Inn, Caesar Park, Caesar Business and One Hotels.

In Mexico, it operates Aqua as a Lifestyle brand, Fiesta Americana Grand and Fiesta Americana in the Grand Tourism segment, Fiesta Inn in the Business Class category, and One Hotels under the Economy Class concept.

In South America— mostly Brazil and Argentina— it operates the Caesar Park brands, aimed at the deluxe business market; and Caesar Business in the Business Class category.

Grupo Posadas also runs the Fiesta Americana Vacation Club, which has ensured guests for it for the next 40 years. At present, the success of this vacation club, which increased its sales by 55% in 2002, has made it the company’s second most important distribution channel.
