The area of the Vice President of Operation is the company's backbone, since this is where Posadas' strategy is put into action through its successful formulas as a hotel operator, franchise, partner and owner.

- Posadas Commercial Model: Grupo Posadas has and applies a unique commercial model (Posadas Sales Methodology), the main objectives of which are:
- Stay close to clients at all times to offer them the products and services that best meet their needs;
- Develop competitive advantages in two key areas: PRICING AND SALES PERFORMANCE; and
- Produce the best results.
- Revenue Management Department: This area is in charge of pricing, inventory control and sales control.
- Key Accounts and City Sales Department: This area focuses on the group sales of the Key Accounts of Mexico, of Consortiums in Mexico and the United States, and of Agreements.
- Key Accounts and Resort Sales Department: This area is responsible for the sales of Wholesale Mexico, Wholesale North America and Wholesale Europe and Asia, for destinations in Mexico and South America. It also is in charge of group sales in North America, including Group Desk of the United States, as well as the sale of resorts.
- Key Account and South American Sales Department: This is the area in charge of the region's key accounts and the sales of company-owned hotels, as well as of the segment of Wholesale South America for the destinations of that region and of Mexico.
- Supplies is the area in charge of the negotiations with different suppliers to make sure that the hotels have the best in terms of quality, service and price in food & beverages, equipment, office supplies and supplies.
- Energy, Human Safety and Ecology: The objective of this department is to ensure the compliance with safety and environmental regulations, innovate technological systems and tools, as well as use energy-efficient equipment.
- Management: Conectum—one of the company's most significant investments in recent years—centralizes shared services, enhances administrative processes and lowers costs.
- Operating Guidelines: This area establishes the bases to develop and implement operating guidelines, i.e. it regulates and controls the policies and procedures aimed at achieving efficient hotel operation.
